Catholic Central 2022 Summer Strength & Conditioning Info
Coaches and Parents,
I hope the school year is finishing up well as we are looking ahead to summer! Below I will go over the Summer Strength and Conditioning Schedule, as well as some necessary details to go along with it. All football and girls basketball players should be on the lookout for summer details from their respective coaches. For all athletes who do not play football/girls basketball, this is the schedule that we will operate off of.
The first day of summer workouts will be held June 13. We will train Mondays through Thursdays from 10:00 AM - 11:15 AM. All athletes should be ready to begin outside the CAT weight room on the indoor track at this time.
Monday - Thursday 10-11:15
*Fourth of July Week off*
We will break for the week of August 1-4, and begin training again for about a week before school starts again. Training times in August are TBD, they will be based around fall sports practice schedules and my obligations as a teacher.
All athletes should bring a water bottle, and come dressed to exercise (clean shoes please!). Parents/guardians should drop athletes off at the student's entrance to the CAT, above the steps leading down to the main gym floor. This entrance is located just before the stadium entrance. Athletes will then leave any bags/equipment downstairs in their respective locker rooms and head upstairs to the indoor track, and wait there until each session begins. I will be there helping to direct any athletes that may need some direction.
Coaches, we need your help in making this summer run smoothly! Please attend when you are able to to help your athletes prepare themselves to compete in the fall. Coaches, please let me know if you have questions about how or when you can help this summer. Any help you can provide will be appreciated! Also, please forward this to your athlete's parents as you see fit.
