STRENGTH & CONDITIONING


Summer Strength & Conditioning is as follows:

  • Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, all non-football male athletes will start the weight room session at 9:00AM and continue until 10:00AM.
  • We will then transition outside to the field, where we will begin speed, agility, and conditioning at 10:15AM with BOTH MALE AND FEMALE GROUPS. 
  • All non-football male athletes and all female athletes will run as a combined group from 10:15-10:45AM. 
  • The non-football male group is dismissed right after this on-field session ends. The female athletes will then transition upstairs to the weight room session from 11:00AM – 12:00PM. 
  • Summer Training will begin Monday, June 10. 
  • There will be an MHSAA mandated dead period from July 1-7, so we will pick Training back up on Monday, July 8. 
  • Summer Training will continue through August 6
  • We will be off completely from Strength and Conditioning August 7-9. 
  • We will resume Summer Training starting on August 12 (excluding the Fall sports that begin August 12, as they will now each be participating in an “In-Season” program), and continue until school starts on August 22. 
  • From August 12 to August 20, we will condense off-season lifting and running into one group. The time on this group is TBD based upon the practice schedules of the Fall teams that will then be in-season; however, the sessions will remain Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
