Boys Varsity Tennis Wins Over NPC (9/18)
The Cougar varsity tennis team won a hard fought match Wednesday afternoon at the CAT courts over Northpointe Christian.
- CC won five matches, including a rousing comeback win in 2 Doubles as Seniors Ben Lankfer and Jerry Crampton fought back from down 1-5 in the third set to pull out a victory. Senior Ryan McClelland also came back from down 3-0 in the third set to win his 3 singles match. Seniors Philip Vu and Tom Rabaut won 3 doubles, Senior Ben Clay won 1 singles and Junior Andrew Frost won 2 singles to round out the wins for CC.
Next play for CC is Saturday (9/21) at the Grandville Quad.
