After defeating West Catholic in their home gym 55-18 for the second time this season the Cougars had to come up big to avenge an earlier loss in the season to Unity Christian.  Sophomore Eddie Hines got the gym shaking with a thunderous headlock pin, against an opponent who had beaten him earlier in the season.  Then stepped up Zack Labine who was not feeling well but still gutted out a 14-6 decision.  When the dust settled it came down to Frosh Luke Orvis with the Cougars trailing by 4 team points going into the last match.  LUKE answered the call.  With his teammates cheering him on from behind the chairs, the solid frosh sealed the deal with a first period pin over Unity Christian's 140lber to propel the Cougars to a 40-38 come from behind victory.  CC started 4 freshman, and 5 sophomores.  Coming away with wins in the district finals was: 112 Labine, 119 Schroder, 135 Nicks, 140 Orvis, 189 Farage, 215 Lusamba, & 285 Hines.

The cougars are currently 21-20 and travel to Fremont for Team Regionals next Wednesday.  Good luck this Saturday in Belding at Individual Districts.
