Hogan Wierda Headed to Varsity Boys Golf State Finals

GOOD LUCK to HOGAN WIERDA as he travels to Bedford Valley Golf Club in Battle Creek this Friday and Saturday to compete in the Varsity Boys Golf State Finals. Tee-off time is 9:00AM scoring two day 18-hole rounds.
Hogan earned his way to the State Finals by firing a 76 at Regionals played at Hawks Head Links.
Keep up the good work Hogan!
CC Boys Golf Takes 4th at Regional & Wierda Advances To State Finals

Congratulations to Hogan Wierda for firing a low score of 76 at the Varsity Golf Regional Tournament held yesterday at Hawks Head Links in South Haven. His low score earned him a spot at MHSAA State Finals being played at Bedford Valley on June 8th and 9th.
The team came in 4th place at the event with our low scorers being Hogan Wierda, Sam Schwierking, Cameron Beachler and Ethan O’Farrell.

Catholic Central Boys Varsity Golf Team is the 2018 OK Blue Conference Champions!
L.E. Kaufman Golf Course hosted the event at over 6,800 yards and perfect weather conditions. It has been a long hard battle all season with Catholic Central, West Catholic and Spring Lake being the top 3 teams. It came down to the conference championship tournament deciding the overall winner. Jr. Sam Schwierking, Jr. Hogan Wierda, So. Jake Onstott and Sr. Captain, Ethan O'Farrell were our top scorers with So. Cameron Beachler and Fr. Thomas Grile rounding out the team. Sam, Hogan and Jake earned top 10 medals. We move to Regionals next Wednesday at Hawks Head.
A huge thank you to everyone that supports our golf program. Go Cougars!
CC Boys Golf Retains Pope Cup

The Pope Cup was retained by Catholic Central by defeating West Catholic 7 – 5 at the Ryder Cup format scrimmage held at Quail Ridge Golf Club.
Thank you to all the caddies, parents and players from both teams for making this annual event such a success.

Congratulations to CC Boys Golf Coach, Kim Napieralski!!
Kim has been selected as a 2021 MIGCA Regional Boys Coach of the Year.
Selected by her peers at the MHSAA Golf Regional for this award, Kim will be recognized at the 2021 Hall of Fame/Coach of the Year Award Banquet on Wednesday, August 4th, 2021 at 6:30 at Treetops Resort in Gaylord, Michigan.
It's a great day to be a COUGAR!!
Boys Golf Tryouts and Open Den Begin (3/12)

Boys Golf Tryouts and Open Den:
Tryouts will be held at Quail Ridge Golf Club beginning Monday, March 12, 2018 at 3:40PM. Bring your equipment, dress for the weather and be ready to compete. We also have “open gym” times at The Den, our indoor golf facility, each Tuesday and Thursday 3:30pm-4:45pm. The Den is located at 654 Davis Avenue NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504. Please enter at the Fifth Street entrance. A doorbell is located at the left side of the entrance. (Note: If Quail Ridge Golf Club is unfit to play, we will hold tryouts at The Den on March 12th at 3:40pm.
